This is the best indicator that either:

A) The democrats know that they're going to get steamrolled in November, so they're not even going to bother trying to slip another credible, electable, candidate in at the last minute. Kamala is the sacrificial lamb they're going to throw on the altar and burn for the 2024 election, because they know it's already lost, nobody else wants the job of getting their ass kicked, and they're already manuevering for position for 2028.

Or,

B) They've been printing pallet loads of mail-in ballots since December 2020, and the plan for stealing 2024 is already so locked in that they could run a houseplant and still be certain of cheating their way to a win. Kamala then becomes "obama's 4th term" because, just like pedo joe, she'll do exactly as she's told.
