I just recently "discovered" these guys despite getting into metal in the mid 80s. I had no idea they sounded like this! It's like prog heavy metal. Great stuff.

As a huge Maiden fan, I can tell you this album was the beginning of their end. Check out all the albums leading up to this one. Trust me, it gets better the further you go back.

Howdy! Well I ended up getting a bunch of random albums (cd) but mostly the early stuff per your recommendation and I've been super impressed with them thank you! The 1st one is definitely my favorite and then Piece of Mind, Somewhere in Time, The Number of the Beast. I think I remember Fear of the Dark being okay.
Senjutsu was great for a newish album - I had no idea what to expect but they're still rocking! The Book of Souls is pretty fucking weak I'll never listen to that again. :D
Just can't believe I've never really listened to them until now. Well worth it.
