You can disable anything you want in windows. I don't have any ai or assistant running on mine. I'll agree though many telemetry things need to be turned off or hacked.
Still easier than anything linux.

I tried linux multiple times, wasnt able to do ANYTHING my windows computer can do OOTB.

Someone else could do what you do in cubase in reaper or lmms or ardour, so its a skill issue.

You can't run boxysvg on windows, but you could run indesign and accomplish the tasks boxy does.

I know there are other daws for linux, but you asked ''like what ?'' so Cubase and plethora of other things that I'd have to spend days or months to figure out when it works in windows in a few clicks.

I wish linux was as good as windows but as of now it clearly isnt.

my question was what you can't do in linux

it wasn't which apps you can't run in linux, which I guess could be interpreted under the umbrella of doing, but I'm talking about the final result.

you can run another app and do the thing you want to do, unless that thing is very specific, like motion tracking things that adobe premier can do, you can likely accomplish it in linux

I should boot up a vm again its been a while, what is the most configurable desktop version of linux, (launchers, taskbars, shortcuts), I have 4 monitors and a 4080. Is kde still a thing ?

kde is the most configurable and just released version 6, its what I use

arch is pretty neat because you get the aur

or you can be autistic and use artix or obarun which is arch without systemd

What are you on about ? only computers using clowdstrike which is mostly enterprise. Nothing to do with windows, personal computers are not affected. What do you think I'm typing this on ?
