That is (in no particular order) the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House, Uluru, Bondi Beach, the National Gallery and so on. As it's such a big country, you'll need plenty of time to really get stuck into Australia - not to mention get around the place. Favourite tourist locations like Perth in the West of the country are literally thousands of miles away from Brisbane, Cairns, Melbourne, Sydney, etc. But we can imagine there are worst places to be for a long period of time - it'll give you time to work on your tan, anyway! There is no "American accent". Texans don't sound like Carolinians, or Californians. And none of us sound like New Yorkers, except maybe the fags from Jersey.
