Being middle class (whatever that is) is basically being tax cattle to pay for underperformers and people who didn't have the aptitude to go to college in the first place, but got "gold stars" their entire life and were propped up by society to feel intelligent.

"I spent seven years in college getting my liberal arts degree. I wanted to be a music therapist. No one will hire me! So what if I can't spell, or read, or do math, or follow simple instructions!"
