Exactly; almost everything on the front page of upgoat is linked to catbox, which is almost always down, which makes the front page nothing but broken links. Why is everyone still using it?

Heads-up to all you faggots who skip over catbox threads: I've started to drop non-catbox mirrors for regular content.

Not sure what went awry and I began to experience intermittent failures with name resolution for catbox a while back. While I have been able to resolve the matter, I noticed feeling left out when it came to consuming the days top content.

All of which got me thinking I couldn't be the only one. After seeing folks mention it here and there, I've begun mirroring all catbox linked content I run across. The goal is to make it more accessible to the community both in the near term as a workaround for catbox accessibility issues and long term by using more than one image host.

I should probably start posting resolution info from the catbox FAQ while I'm at it...
