Yes. You have to register as a republican if you intended to vote for Nikky Haley in the PA republican primary, as millions of act blue democrats did in the Republican primaries in protest of Trump.

No. It's not speculation that he donated to act blue causes the day Biden announced running again. It's not speculation that PA has a closed primary system that requires you to register as a republican to vote in a republican primary. And, it is not speculation that the Democrat party was urging democrats to vote in the republican primary with the hopes of draining Trump's election resources.
