They founded the country under liberalism, and this is the end result. Creating a hierarchical society with a royal family heading the nation would solve this partially. But the Founding Fathers had to take muskets from France, instead of taking Spain only.
Why would the founding fathers who fought a war against a monarchy with no accountability to its own actions set up a form of government identical to what they just fought against? They didn't even found the country under liberalism. Where are you getting that idea from? They took the good parts of the Roman republic, added checks and balances, then told the people it was their job to keep it. The thing about republics is that you have the ability to vote yourself back into tyranny. Unlike a monarchy where you are a coinflip chance on whether or not your king wants to be a scumbag.
