Gianni, first go watch Kurosawa's 1961 "Yojimbo", Leone's 1964 "Fistful Of Dollars", and then even Hill's 1996 "Last Man Standing". (All of which I thoroughly enjoyed because each of the remakes was NOT an attempted retelling of the same story from the same perspective, but a fresh re-telling from a completely different angle. Each can stand on it's own merits.)
Then go sit in the fucking corner and suck your thumb while you contemplate the simple fact that you are not now, and never will be, up to the task of doing better than ANY of those three.
All you could possibly do is fuck it all up. And I've just about had it up to my thorax with misguided shit-fisted egotistical retards crapping all over some of the best parts of my childhood.
One last thing: Just where the fuck do you plan on finding a genius like Ennio Morricone to do the soundtrack?
One of the only successful remakes that I enjoyed as much as the original was the 2010 "True Grit".
Jeff Bridges was brilliant in NOT trying to retrace John Wayne's footsteps and made the character his own.
Hailee Steinfeld did NOT try to replay Kim Darby, and Matt Damon, Josh Brolin and Barry Pepper all did the same.
I found each film to be eminently enjoyable on their own, and we even did a barbecue/movie night out back here, where we played both back-to-back and had a great time.

Just fucking no. Period. The iron rule of remakes is, "Never try to remake a successful hit."

Delmar Daves' 1957 version starring Glenn Ford?
Or Mangold's 2007 remake starring Crowe and Bale?
Or did you mean both, pesented as a pair?
Byron McElroy: "If you're gonna kill me, just as soon get to it."
Ben Wade: "I ain't gonna kill you. Not like this."
Byron McElroy: "Won't change a thing, lettin' me live. I'll come for you."
Ben Wade: "I'd be disappointed if you didn't."

Peckinpah pioneered the use of intercut slow-mo gunfight footage that is still used to this day.
Dutch Engstrom: "They'll be waitin' for us."
Pike Bishop: "I wouldn't have it any other way."
