THeir parents came from the depression, all of them. They bought houses never thinking there was going to be profit from equity.

Now we've got people who won't look after their elderly parents because that's the government's job. If the old parents own a house they're just waiting.

I'm enjoying my White Male Boomer privilege. More so because I discarded the whole 'make a lot of money' plan decades ago. A relaxing and peaceful life is worth more than anything money can buy.
