The odds of 1 small nuclear detonation happening is infinitesimally small. If 1 pops off, there will likely be 1 pop off in literally every major US city in the country and the result will be the death of most of mankind. Far greater than 1 mile of destruction in each detonation and the fallout will destroy everything within a hundred miles of each detonation for a hundred years.
