I have two tourniquets; one I keep in my car, the other I keep in an EDC bag.
My first order of business would have been getting her out of the water asap and stop the bleeding.

Watching this video annoyed me because of how long it took for them to drag her out and then ask for a "belt".

Lessons to be learned. I can't imagine being alone and losing a limb. I wear gnarly colored/printed shorts for just this reason. Might as well look like a threat.

Foot entirely gone. Looks like they'll live though. Did you see where those sharks were? Close to shore, stuck in the deep trough created during low tide. As a surfer, I often get asked from my naive family 'aren't you scared of sharks'. I tell them no, cause I'm on something bigger than them, above them, and farther out than where they are stuck/eating. It's the tourists and others swimming in that inner trough that are in the most dangerous spot.
