TikTok has a very good algorithm (half driven by the app being spyware), so the ForYou page is literally ForYOU. Every single time I see someone complaining about weird/gross shit on TikTok "my man, you did this to yourself". I don't post about how I'm shocked tiktok is full of racists and stay at home mums and crafters and comedians and cooking videos and people gossiping about strangers and movies condensed into 20 30 second clips that means I don't have to watch the full 2 hours.
