What was the name of that crank powered 99 dollar laptop from decades ago?

It was a "nonprofit" doing a one for one. White buys one, nigger gets one.

One Laptop Per Child!

It was a green clamshell sort of thing. Was looking forward to them coming out but then Asus dropped the EEE PC. Had so much fun getting that thing running smoothly.

Now I’d never like to see another fucking computer again so long as I live. šŸ™‚

My 90s laptop was crank operated, but it was $5K.

im mildly surprised i was never forced to hand crank a 2600 baud modem.

i mean the one i borrowed had a chip on it that overheated like a motherfucker to the point that after running for an hour id start getting gibberish across the top of the terminal and the connection would drop out.

sitting the fucker on a wet sponge using glad wrap to insulate everything else soon fixed that shit!

an ex bought me an eeepc around the time olpc was a thing and by god was it an awful piece of shit to the point i stuck with my nokia n95 for a good couple of years after its use by date.

now theyve partnered with pfizer, janssen and astra zeneca and are doing it by 'vaccination' instead.
