Latex – Wait for one hour to dry and allow for two hours of fresh airflow.
Oil – Wait eight hours to dry with two hours of fresh airflow.
In both cases, maintain ventilation for two to three days. More vulnerable people should refrain from sleeping in a room entirely until two to three days have passed.
A room full of rattlesnakes would never be safe, no matter how dry the paint is.
I'd give it a week or so, to the point you can't smell an odor when entering. Use heat to accelerate the outgassing, and ventilation to direct the fumes outside.
The safe level is relative, but 'safe enough' will generally be smelling no paint odor in the room when entering after the door has been closed overnight.
i dont care how dry the paint is im more concerned about where the fuck all those rattlesnakes went. i dont think im sleeping in that neighbourhood, let alone bedroom.
