While I agree that a shotgun would be a good tool, I honestly thing a 9mm with an extra mag would scare them off when you shoot even one and you have enough for bonus points.

I would tend to agree. Looks like there's a chance for collateral damage, including the cars in the area. And don't just load up with hollows, but +P hollows. Another consideration is that if they're already willing to go this far, how many of them are carrying firearms as well?

All in all, it was a shame to see none of them get shot.

Right? Wtf is he talking about? You need a rifle for a situation like this. You need a shitload of bullets that you can shoot really quickly. In the time it takes to pump a shotgun, they'd be on you. Start slamming rifle rounds into that clump of attackers while they're at the door, you might be striking multiple targets per round, and once a few of them fall over, the rest will run away, scared by the noise of rapid fire right at them.

I have a veteran 12 AK 47 shotgun. I have a 25 round drum. If he had a partner with that I would have felt secure in that situation. I also have 2 15 round magazines as well. So the 25 round drum to start then be ready to quickly reload if you didn't get them all or they ended up having guns of their own
