Back when you used to watch T.V., what was your favorite sit-com, in real time or reruns?

I liked MASH and Barney Miller. They ran back to back for years.

I think I’ve seen every episode. Remember wrong way Feldman?

Wasn't he the pilot?

[ - ] TheOriginal1Icemonkey [op] 1 point 9 monthsSep 1, 2024 23:49:01 ago (+1/-0)

Yes. He crashed there or something. I think there was more than one episode with him, although I could be mistaken.
Loved that show.

Happy Days, Batman, Bosom Buddies, Mork & Mindy, WKRP, The Young Ones (BBC), TAXI, Laverne & Shirley, Perfect Strangers, Saved By the Bell, Tool Time (Heidi Woo! Woo!), Carter Country.

And here I was, thinking Perfect Strangers was only a Deep Purple song.

Such a great show. I've been thinking about re-watching a few episodes to see if it holds up.

[ - ] Anus_Expander 0 points 9 monthsSep 1, 2024 15:25:53 ago (+0/-0)

It was also written, directed, and produced by jews

Of course it was. You'd be hard pressed to find anything out of Hollywood that isn't.

I’ve been watching Frasier again and it’s quite funny. Its G rated and holds up well.

Grizzly Adams. When America was still nature outside the big kikeniggerfaggot cities, people were nice to each other, and the definition of government was how you chose to live your life.

Or The Greatest American Hero. What a nice huwite guy who tried to do good things. Then he'd go splat again and the girl would blame him. I'd loop into fits of laughter for hours and go magnify some ants while rocking back and forth.

Airwolf

The theme song, plus the turbo-scream sound FX still makes me smile. What makes it even more badass is ALL of the flight footage really happened. There was no CGI back then.

It's a post-1976 tarted up Bell 222/230 which only needs a fiberglass body kit, a couple a turbines, big panels with lots of switches and dials, and some extending surfaces with hidden pewpews. A few days at most in a Mexican body shop or call my brother in law. My old man is a television repairman. He's got this ultimate set of tools.

If I had the cash to burn, then I would do it.

Get all the needed flight certifications, and then pimp a Bell 230 for real.

I still like and watch MASH. I liked Nash Bridges.

MASH 4077. The liberal doctors were so smart and caring and brilliant. They didn't care if North Korea lost or won, and didn't care what happened to South Korea. They were loftier and more noble than life.

The bumbling idiot, barely competent doctor was a dork and wanted the South not to go into the religious cult of jewish communism. He saluted pictures of Republicans.

All the best critiques in only the finest of newspapers wrote reviews saying it was a brilliant show that smart people watched.

You wouldn't call that propaganda now would ya? It isn't as if they were raising youngsters to think "Oh, liberals are smart and compassionate, conservatives hate communism and are stoopid.

THe gy who wrote the books was a conservative doctor, and the original book is witty without the propaganda.

I understand the author didn’t care for the way Hawkeye Pierce was scripted.

[ - ] TheYiddler 0 points 11 monthsJul 1, 2024 06:18:40 ago (+0/-0)

MASH was supposedly a critique on Vietnam. It was the dumb warmongers that got us into that mess. Fighting communism was the supposed motivation so it's hard to disentangle idiot warhawks and communist hate.

Even now the kike media pushes the idiot conservative trope but the warmongering seems to have died down.

Gilligan's Island. Ginger was hot and Mary Ann was wife material.

[ - ] MrHarryReems 0 points 9 monthsSep 1, 2024 13:09:19 ago (+0/-0)

Mary Ann was a former Ms. Nevada. She beat out some crazy competition for the part, including Raquel Welch.

I could always sit down for an episode of Mash or Hogan's Heroes.
