In St. Faustina's diary, Jesus is speaking with her and identifies Poland as the spark that will prepare the world for His final coming. The quote from Jesus reads, "I bear a special love for Poland, and if she will be obedient to My will, I will exalt her in might and holiness. From her will come forth the spark that will prepare the world for My final coming" (Diary of St. Faustia).
St. Faustia was a Catholic mystic that had daily visions of Christ. She died at 33 from TB and lived at the start of WW2. Interesting thing - she would pray for the sinners and her city but out of a 30 hour audio book, I don't think she mentioned the war once.
