No, 'Black Irish' are the shipwrecked sailors of the Spanish armada who had to sail up around the north of Britain and down the friendly catholic coast of Ireland. They're not nigger-tier.

Black Irish were from the Spaniards that ended up there after one of the failed armadas. And Spaniards do have moorish blood so maybe we are both right. In any case, the black referred more to their black hair.
