Also, nearly every single solar and wind farm specifically targets farmland to build on.

If you don't know, solar panels are extremely toxic and when onsite, basically salt the earth.

Solar panels on non-farmable land is fine. Rooftop panels are a good idea when power goes. Though you could just have a battery backup system for your house, but that only lasts so long.

I don't think they "salt the earth" when they sit on-site. If you crumble them up or otherwise mishandle them, sure, that'll let out the bad bits. Considering the diversity hiring practices of many of these companies, yeah, they could be fucking shit up.

I eat beef about four times a week and only buy beef from Argentina/Uruguay because I know it's grass fed. Import tax for beef in the EU is about 70% so here in Germany is definitely more expensive.
