Long before that we had The Grease Man in D.C. and on the subject of Martin Luther Kang day he said "we should kill four more and take a whole week off!". Oh dear Lord shit hit the fan, he got fired and all those groups went after him. He became a hero and thousands protested to bring him back. I still remember my jaw dropping. I was driving when he said it on air. This would've been in 1988-89, I think. He's a legend

I theory I just came up with. Birds attempt to mimic echo in their vabrado. Because a mate that could obtain a natural echo must be huge. Then subsequent generations would want to simulate the sound of that call if it got echo.
