One of the most important lessons I learned from Ranger School was:
"Learn to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. Make it your 'normal', because it gives you a huge advantage."

"Yeah, this sucks, but it sucks equally for both sides, so I have decided to LIKE the way this sucks, and in fact, I wish it would suck even MORE."

So, while the other guy is standing there in the dark, in the same thunderstorm you're in, and he's focused on staying warm, dry and comfortable, you're nose deep in freezing swamp water, watching him. Waiting.
