It's been observed that pedophilia is cyclical and created when other children are abused and grow up to repeat the pattern. rabbis and sexually repressed priests, for example, are often abused as children and then have urges they act on as predatory adults; and then those children grow up to do the same.

The take-away? Instead of blaming society for not validating their illness, pedos aught to think about the time they were a child and their step father had their way with them. The individual.

And by your logic, by the way, there is no limit to any absurdly groetesque future social bastardization, since every change can merely be blamed on society previously being under mass psychosis (for your example, no longer allowing one to rape kids.)
