But, you know, not if that meant lowering their standard of living at all.

Baby boomers can see younger Australians are struggling financially and want to help where they can, but they are not willing to do so at the expense of their retirement lifestyle, new research shows.

Four in five Australians over 65 think their children are facing harder times than they experienced at the same age and a corresponding three in four believe passing on their wealth is important, according to new research by the banking and superannuation company AMP.

But despite wanting to help, seven in 10 surveyed said they were unlikely to compromise their retirement lifestyle to do so.

If there is one thing you can count on from Boomers, it’s that they will make the wrong choice every single time and they’ll always have an excuse to justify it. They’d love to see the grandkids… but not if that means actually going there to visit them. Oh, and they’d love to have the grandkids come and stay with them, sadly, the one week the kids have school vacation just happens to land on the very dates they’ve got that cruise planned.

Boomers are self-conceited and selfish, they love trashing the White race and especially their own lineage. They would sell their children for a globohomo holiday for 3 days in April.

I once dated a girl that was completely unreliable. She would talk like she would go to eh ends of the earth for me and do whatever I needed but early on I realized she was only in it for herself. She wouldn't even go across the room to get something from the cabinet.

That's boomers. They talk like they give a shit but it's always about them.

The slightest acknowledgement from them is a massive improvement. Lol. I commented on a news article a while ago about boomers living lavishly saying that boomers have a duty to leave some inheritance to their kids and got swamped by a mob of retarded boomers who feel it's their right to spend it all, even when they themselves got an inheritance.

Yes and no. I think they were/are one of the most heavily propagandized generations out there. Doesn't excuse the behavior but it does help to explain it some.

They could have not gone along with it. Propagandized or not, at this point they could, at the very least, admit they got duped.

But they won't. They'll just pretend everything is alright as the world burns.

I don't think the majority know they have been duped. The others refuse to admit it/ don't give a shit so you're right about that.
My parents are Boomers but they are really fantastic people in the ways that matter. I just hate to generalize and encourage generational divide.
