I feel like things that make us weak don’t get enough hate around here.
If you have a drinking problem, I hope you stop and use that energy to pursue something great. Save for you older faggots who are stuck in your ways and have no hope of changing or doing much in life and have a dogshit skill level of articulating your points through written language.
...and what skillset do you have that deems you qualified to make such a statement?...and being a recovering alcoholic doesn't qualify anyone as a professional peer...have you engineered, designed or constructed components of infrastructure, industry or worked as a tradesman in the Oil/Gas/Mining sectors?or maybe you're a physicist or chemist?...or are you the prodigal son looking for a home to replace the one you shunned? Just curious, I may learn something...oh yeah, I don't drink or smoke
have you engineered, designed or constructed components of infrastructure, industry or worked as a tradesman in the Oil/Gas/Mining sectors
I have done that and I think a lot of people have hidden drinking issues that cause them a lot of grief. It's an addiction that turns into a destructive lifestyle. I don't have a problem with weekend casual drinkers but I don't like being around dudes with a piss poor attitude who go home and kill a 12 pack every night and are always trying to slip in minis throughout the day
I’m not sure if I look like shit… I have long hair so I obviously don’t wash it every day, but every 3-5 days. And I definitely drink more than the allotted “2 drink is moderate” I’m a heavy drinker in the categorical sense, but I like to think that I have it under wraps even if I know I don’t because I think I almost had a panic attack today at work just after lunch.
Sorry for the run on sentences and shit grammar… I need a break from drinking, that is extremely a fact, before I get cirrhosis at 31 and die.
I drink, I smoke a pipe and cigars, I’m a millionaire. I’ve made many deals while moderately hammered, then celebrated with a cigar. Some drink and ascend, some end up in the gutter. I don’t understand the gutter guild. It comes down to your drive.
Funny they say the rich and the poor drink the most. The poor don't have much to lose and the rich can afford the concequences of the alcohol lifestyle.
I too smoke a pipe. I love restoring antique pipes. What’s your favorite maker? Kaywoodie is mine. I want to try a Dunhill, but I can’t justify spending that much on a pipe
It’s not an ad hominem attack. Jesus turned water into wine. But as long as you’re not a drunkard, it’s one of God’s gifts. Your body produces about a cup a day naturally. Stop being a faggot.
That doesn't make a celebratory libation, in communion with family and friends, anything to be ashamed of, however.
Yes, enduring hardship makes us hard. Likewise, reverence expressed communally through revelry reminds us of the life we endure for.
In my experience, asceticism is just as much folly as vice; it's merely the obverse side of the same coin.
What I have found that works for me is to instead to live on the edge of the coin where, on one hand I endeavor to be disciplined in all things, yet at the same time am able to responsibly participate in celebratory experiences if/as I see fit.
All this to say that I neither seek it out or avoid it. You can partake without making an ass of yourself.
The alcohol isn't the problem it's the underlying issues that alcohol is used to avoid. The sad part is when I read these posts I know how that demon will follow these people for the rest of their lives waiting for a moment of weakness.
Alcohol is responsible for the greatest inventions, our Constitution, the best music, etc.
Unfortunately, there are losers (like you!) that that have been either raised by women or are too feminine to appreciate the things that you cannot handle.
If it’s not for you, then don’t have any. Simple as that, buttercup!
There's a lot of pathetic degenerates on here. There's only a few basic intelligent people who would even pass a college degree, the rest are absolute retards who found their way here because they have a lower class fuck authority attitude, not because they possessed the intelligence required to pierce the veil themselves.
Alcohol is loser shit because it's a negative reward/risk ratio. The high is brief, the tiredness that follows is long. If you have no mental sharpness in the first place, then you won't lose much and won't consider drinking to be bad, aka you're a subhuman loser. I detect the mental lethargy in the replies I get on here all the time. They can't even fucking read a thread that is a paragraph long, they need it delivered to them in memes or slogans. Ironic when so many alt rightists often become schizo retards on health subjects and act like they know everything.
Ever since I 'quit' drinking, I barely enjoy anymore. Maybe drink once or twice a week, without getting drunk. Had some last night with my cousin I haven't seen in a while. Barely drank, cut myself off early, but we did do a bit of coke.

Firewater should be left for the spics and injuns.
Alcohol is a big part of our culture, but it isn't doing us any good. The only way to make people see this is to ask them why they want to act like a wagon burner.
I drink. It makes me feel good and is good social lubricant. Sometimes I drink too much over multiple days but I usually recognize it's getting bad and take some time off. I find kratom is a good substitute that satisfies the urge to drink. I quit weed over a year ago and don't miss it at all.
Alcohol aka kahala al - "to stain all", hence one needing to ab-stain from it. Furthermore...caloric (cohol) aka "heat" tempts one to ignore being heat (life) during cold (inception towards death).
The intoxicating effect of alcohol simulates fever aka "a disease, characterized by an accelerated pulse, with increase of heat, impaired functions, diminished strength, and often with preternatural thirst"...and just like that another drink gets ordered.
I hope you stop and use that energy to pursue something great.
Energy moves...it cannot stop. Within energy...action (inception towards death) generates reactions (life) which tempt each other to pursue outcomes, while ignoring to resist the temptation of origin.
Both hope (wanting outcome) and fear (not wanting outcome) tempt one to ignore needing to resist wanted temptations within origin.
Few tempt many to ignore need (perceivable inspiration) for want (suggested information), while choosing the latter establishes a conflict of reason (want vs not want) among many.

Exactly.
It seems OP doesn't understand moderation. He is a switch brain that has to get hammered or abstain from libations like a puritanical.

I definitely have a drinking problem, not sure if I’m going to be able to do it on my own, but I’ll try.
There’s that Chris Stapleton song,
“You only need a drink when the whisky is the only thing you have left to hold.”
