Maybe instead of punishing people for stomping on and wiping their feet on a flag, they should be punishing the people who paint flags on the ground in the first place.

I mean... that's why people paint flags on the ground, so everyone can disrespect the flag by driving over and walking on it, right?

Try soaking the area in white vinegar for 10 minutes, then pressure-washing

It's not a paint remover. Whatever you use, make sure you don't ruin the asphalt, as some products will melt it.
