Use a shampoo with tea tree oil in it. Paul Mitchell makes one called Tea Tree Oil Special Shampoo. You have to really work it in and let it sit for about 10 minutes. It will feel amazing and get rid of the seborrhea. That’s your “medicine”. Before you shampoo, put some coconut oil on your scalp for several minutes to loosen the scales and gently comb it out. I do also agree with the poster who says to stop washing your hair, but get it under control first. Then wash your hair about once a week. Constant hair washing isn’t good.
While you're working on it, you can get a lice comb with those metal prongs close together. Works great for clearing all the flaky shit off your scalp.
Yes. I have had some issues with recurring dermatitis on my scalp. You will do best with a 3-pronged approach:
1. If it is pretty bad, get a scrip for a short run of amoxicillin. That will help with underlying infections.
2. If you have hard, tender bumps, then get a topical steroid like Mometasome Fuorate and use it sparingly directly on those hard bumps like twice a day. This will help with relaxing any heavy, kertatinized bumops and relieve pain and swelling a bit.
3 Use Selsum Blue Shampoo for a few days straight. Once flakes/bumps have declined, just use the Selsum Blue every few days for maintenance, but when my scalp is relatively healthy, I have had the best success with this shampoo after much trial and error:
It smells great and doesn't leave a film. Easy rinse in and out. I like to start my showers with shampooing and let whatever shampooo sit there while I soap up the rest of myself so it has time to work before rinsing it out.
The moment I came off wheat almost all my dermatitis issues disappeared. All I have left is minor rashes from hayfever when pulling weeds with my bare hands and minor ones if I eat like, 3 tubs of yoghurt in a day.
But I had a period of time where my head was super itchy and had a lot of dandruff. I used apple cider vinegar and just rubbed it into my scalp. I also added some tea tree and peppermint oil to it, but that's not the active ingredient. The apple cider vinegar killed whatever bacteria was doing this and my head stopped being itchy and producing dandruff in a couple of days. I started by mixing it 50/50 with water. But after a while I used 100% vinegar. Let it sit until it dries.
You could also try magnesium oil with zechstein sea brine.
Or if you just want to normie fag, a coal tar shampoo might be helpful.
Stop using shampoo and conditioner for a month. Wash your hair obviously but don’t use product. Will take a month for the oils in your head to restabalize.
You’ve been brainwashed to wash your head so often and your hair won’t be stinky like you assune

Hope one of those works out. Try the vinegar.
