Trump never said that he was going to lock her up and absolutely did tell his AG to appoint a special prosecutor to "look into her situation" and people where charged in that investigation.
I did watch the clip and he never, not one time, said he was going to lock her up. You're reading into the clip things that were never suggested.
The president doesn't have the authority to lock political opponents up. He did however "ask his AG to appoint a special prosecutor to look into your (Clinton) situation" and that appointed special prosecutor did charge Clinton staff with actual crimes.
But you go ahead and give me the time stamp of where, in that clip, Trump said, specifically, that he was going to have her locked up.
