Rep. Pat Ryan said Sunday that he sees the divide between the small share of Americans — less than 1% — who are active-duty service members in the U.S. military and the rest of the country as "deeply problematic as a democracy."

Ryan, a veteran, said he and his colleagues in Congress have worked to prioritize recruiting within an annual defense bill, citing challenges among each branch of the military with recruiting numbers.

One of the history teachers in my high school brought his collections to school to show off also. He had a fake grenade that he would roll under someone's desk if they fell asleep in his class. THAT WILL WAKE YOU UP BEFORE QUICK! LOL.
He was alright. He had a few flaws though. His "American History" was nothing but wars. The periods between wars were skipped over in a hurry. Nothing of interest, to him, ever happened in those times. Haha.

Hah! Our US History was a separate class, taught by a guy who used to be the band teacher. If someone was sleeping, he'd sneak up Looney Tunes style on the kid with a giant pair of cymbals and crash them over his/her head.

You're right though; World History had an emphasis on wars and treaties. At least the holohoax was a short chapter that we just sped through.
