My dad hates Harleys as much as I do. He liked four-cylinder sport touring bikes. Unfortunately he's in no condition to ride these days, but we had great memories. I kept telling him I'd buy his old Kawasaki Concours but he sold it out from under me.

That would be doable; he's had both hips replaced so he just can't climb into a traditional saddle. He lives ~700mi away but does want to move back closer. He's been talking about it for years, so I'll believe it when I see it.
