He is a complicated fella. A friend at work found him hunkered down in a fallow corn field, no collar, no chip no nothing, a stray/dump. He's very shy and danger averse even now that he's been an indoor kitty for three ish years.

But he has taken a shine to my daughter and comforts her every day. They are thick as thieves. The only time he runs to me is when he feels genuinely frightened, like in a thunderstorm. That's how I was able to get the pic 😻
