The average shibe lives to be 13-16, so she lived a good long life. In fact, she is the 2nd oldest shibe to exist. The power of memes kept her alive for a bit longer despite her having cancer. RIP you lil' nipdog, you were the goodest girl.

I’ve had two dogs cruise to 17, both Australian Shepherds. Not sure why, I had them when I was young and we fed them Purina and Kal Kan. That’s considered crappy food by todays standards. My wife has been preparing home cooked meals for our dogs for 25 years now. The ones being fed the best die around the 12 to 14 year mark. All Australian Shepherds. I think the food available to people at the market might be poisonous shit.
