The real reason all those people fought in World War II was because they were forced to. Make no mistake despite all the statements about patriotism and all this other nonsense America didn't want the war they voted for Roosevelt cuz he promised to keep people out of the war and no one wanted to go fight and face machine guns. They did it because there was a draft and they were forced to.
