Thoughts like this result from very bad theology.

If you're wise, you'll try to understand the significance of free will. That is the key.

Hell is not a penitentiary. It is the logical necessity of God honoring the free will that he made, which is free to wander endlessly in darkness.

You're already wrong. Christians believe in a lake of fire. Some even made fan-fiction that there is 9 circles of Hell, each one worse the further down you go. And catholics even believe fetuses, babies and toddlers go there! Also, look up Calvinism, there was never free will from the start!

[ - ] CHIRO 0 points 12 monthsMay 19, 2024 09:43:45 ago (+0/-0)

Alright, if you want to acknowledge different traditions, then let's do that, but that already takes us out of "all Christians." Calvinism is shit-tier thought. The original tradition is Catholic, and the Catholics have no de fide belief in what hell is like. Rather, very little has been said that is dogmatic about hell in the Catholic tradition. We should be treating literary devices/depictions, like Dante's, for what it is: literature. No Catholic authority has ever come along and said that this literary depiction is the way hell actually is. The truth is, among those who believe it, we just don't know, save for the fact that it is an outcome that results for the unrepentant human will and it is irrevocable. But what the nature of hell is in terms of the qualities of experiencing existence in hell, nobody has a fucking clue. In practical terms, you ought to act as if it is whatever you fear most, which for many people just is some kind of torture. But this has more to do with its phenomenological significance, i.e., the outcome you should consider the most desirable to avoid.

Catholics are not the original, the Gnostics are. The Catholics silenced them because Catholicism is Satanic.

[ - ] CHIRO 1 point 12 monthsMay 19, 2024 10:03:06 ago (+1/-0)

That's a debate I don't hope to settle here and now. It's perennial. But I will say that I think gnosticism is based on a fundamental theological flaw, or rather a misinterpretation of God's act of creation. There is nothing opposed to God. There is nothing beside him. You are not in a prison world crafted by some malevolent god. You're in a world justly punished the way that any possible creation of God must be due to its metaphysical distinctness from Him. The key thing to realize is God suffers his own self-denial in order to create that world, for your sake. If you suffer, God suffers.

I dunno, there do seem to be a handful of loudmouth Christians (or "Christians") who do seem to believe this. It's a selling point of some churches. IIRC it's technically true that under Christianity anyone who isn't of the faith goes to hell, even if that doesn't mean being dropped into the nine circles. (The existence of the Elysian Fields has really been downplayed.) Care to discuss this further?

Thats ALL of them since the Vatican. Gnostics reject Yahweh as the true father of Christ.

Two questions:

1. What, if any, relationship did you have with your father growing up?
2. Second, who or what is "Yahweh"?

As far as I'm aware, those who call themselves Christian when referring to the Christian God by any other name, usually use Jesus Christ, Lord, Holy father, and God interchangeably, while old testament fetishists use Jehovah. So, I've never had anyone explain to me where "Yahweh" comes from as I've never found it in any translation of The Holy Bible.

How do you know what your Jew-God's Jew-Name is if there is a prohibition on using it?
The reason you can't find it is because the Jews who originally worshipped their God didn't write the name down.

Yahweh is just one of a pantheon of gods the Jews worshipped before they condensed them all down into one centralized monotheistic god.

You can't find these answers in the (((Bible))) because the bible is the propaganda the Jews used to erase their prior history around 600BC.

Correct, there is no name for the true God but "The Monad" or "The One".

1. What, if any, relationship did you have with your father growing up?<

Good.

“If any” !! catholic spice based on something extra biblical possibly?? :p

2. Second, who or what is "Yahweh"?<

You shall not take the name of Yahuah (YHVH [ יהוה ]) Elohayka (your Elohiym) in vain;
for Yahuah will not hold him guiltless את that takes his name in vain.

Josephus: Of the War, Book V, Chapter 5, Paragraph 7:
“A mitre also of fine linen encompassed his head: which was tied by a blue ribband, about which there was another golden crown; in which was engraven the sacred name [of God]. It consists of four vowels.”

The notion that “ the name was so sacred it shouldn't be spoken or written! “ was the Edomite imposition the author is struggling to find, (although Josephus noted that the name was still being pronounced in the early first century long after the Edomite incursion) it is nevertheless a prohibition maintained by the successors to the Edomites up to this day. Scripture contains repeated commands to mention, publish, proclaim, and announce His great name.

If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, says Yahuah Tseva'oth, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.

Today we will take a look briefly at the name Yahuah but more in depth at the name Yahusha. There is a well-known saying among the modern generations: "Haters gotta hate" and few manifest hatred as well as those who hate the Sacred Names.
If you agree that there is in fact a name set forth in scripture for the one who created us - our Father - then you might ask yourself the question whether he has a name. And if so, is it possible to find it in scripture? The answer is: Yes. And equally important, we are called upon to proclaim it, declare it, make mention of it, publish it and to call ourselves by it. You might recall that famous verse that begins with "if my people who are called by my name . . ."
But, haters gotta hate, and hate is what they do with the Sacred Name of the Father, criminalizing the mere speaking of it; calling it the dirtiest word you could ever utter, and of course ridiculing those who declare the name as "Sacred Namers" as though we are intolerant. You might recall this verse from the Besorah Yochanon (the Gospel of John): And I have declared unto them your name and will declare it: that the love wherewith you have loved me may be in them, and I in them. Yochanon 17:26. If you are asking yourself the question WWJD?, well here is one answer.
But those who have been reared on worship dogma concerning the name "Jesus" are Sacred Namers to a maximum degree, although the name did not appear in that form in scripture until 1789. It's not inaccurate per se in designating the Messiah - but it is derivative, being an Anglicanization of a Germanized form of an Old English Reduction from a Greek substitution for the original name. Wouldn't you like to know what the original name was?
But I know what you are thinking. You don't want to take the word from some big beard Sacred Namer like me. Fortunately, you don't have to! Today we are going to see what Strong's has had to say about this topic for generations. Now, you can actually know with confidence.

And let them know that You, Whose Name is Yahuah, You alone are the Highest One over all the earth." (Psalm 83:18)

25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
John 17 KJV

16 And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.
Exodus 9 KJV (to Pharaoh)

14 And Elohiym said unto El-Mosheh, Ehayah Asher Ehayah: and he said, Thus shall you say unto the children of Yashar’el, Ehayah has sent me unto you.
15 And Elohiym said moreover unto El-Mosheh, Thus shall you say unto the children of Yashar'el, Yahuah Elohai of your fathers, the Elohai of Avraham, the Elohai of Yitschaq, and the Elohai of Ya`aqov, has sent me unto you: this is my name forever, and this is my mention unto all generations.

"The Name" on "Answers for our Time" with Dr. Stephen Pidgeon and Jessica Knock - Eatin Wild Honey and Locusts [23.25]

In this presentation, we addressed some of the most asked questions for those searching for answers regarding God's names and the reason for the confusion. Translators, scribes, scholars and ha' satan for centuries have tried to conceal the names; the Name of the Creator, YAHUAH, the name of the Son of God Yahusha. Isaiah 52:6 The Creator, Yahuah, says, "Therefore, My people shall know My Name..." John 5:43 I have come in my Father's name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. Exodus 23:13 Pay attention to all that I have said to you, and make no mention of the names of other idols, nor let them be heard on your lips. Acts 17:30 In the past Yahuah overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent

And you shall be hated of all men for my name's sake - Stephen Pidgeon [1.33.05]

For behold, the day comes, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that comes shall burn them up, says Yahuah Tseva’oth, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. Mal’akiy (Malachi) 4:1 10 But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves. 11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Qayin and ran greedily after the error of Bil`am for reward and perished in the gainsaying of Qorach. 12 These are spots in your feasts of love, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withers, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; 13 Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness forever. Yahudah (Jude) 10-13 14 And Chanoch also, the seventh from A’dam, prophesied of these, saying: Behold, Yahuah comes with ten thousands of his qodeshiym, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are wicked among them of all their wicked deeds which they have wickedly committed, and of all their hard speeches which wicked sinners have spoken against him. 16 These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaks great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage. Yahudah (Jude) 10-13 17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Adonai Yahusha Ha’Mashiach; 18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own wickedly lusts. 19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Ruach. 20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Ruach Ha’Qodesh, 21 Keep yourselves in the love of Elohiym, looking for the mercy of our Adonai Yahusha Ha’Mashiach unto eternal life. Yahudah (Jude) 10-13 22 Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from Adonai Yahuah Tseva’oth a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth. Yesha’yahu (Isaiah) 28:22 There are those who disagree that the name Yahuah is the name of the entity referred to as "the father" in scripture. For instance, the followers of the heretic Marcion (expelled from the company of believers in the second century AD) believe that there is only "Jesus" and that the "god" identified in the Old Testament is actually "satan" and is completely disconnected from "Jesus". This idea was rejected by the church fathers very early on - even before the legalization of Christianity under Constantine in AD 325. There are others who believe the words of Zechariah Sitchens in his now discredited translation of Sumerian manuscripts where he willfully assigned wickedness to an entity called "Yah" and righteousness to "Enlil" and "Enki". The Sumerian tablets were not inspired writings and were full of errors, logical irregularities, and their litany of "gods" appears both farcical and whimsical, personifying every property of existence as a "god" and rendering the Ruach as a "ghost". The bullies and the mockers now not only ridicule the name Yahuah, but denounce it, curse it, pierce through it, ban it, forbid it, and otherwise blaspheme the name; scratching their testicles while exalting themselves upon the names "Lord", "God", "HaShem" and "Jesus". We will take a close look at their error tonight, bearing in mind that the sin for which is there is no forgiveness is blaspheming the Ruach Ha'Qodesh.

Place a piece of card under the words and read them slowly one at a time.
Then when you get to the end of the line, go back and read the whole line again. Keep reading it until you find that you understand what it is saying.
Then take a rest, go for a walk, eat an apple, until you feel like reading the next line.

Yeah, sorry about the sarcasm :)

Basically the scriptures are full of directions for us to love, and respect, and to share, and proclaim, the name of our creator, and the best evidence seems to indicate that the name is pronounced YAHUAH (Ee-Yah-ooh-Ah).

The only place a deity by the name of ‘God’ is mentioned in the Hebrew is in Isaiah 65 where it refers to a pagan deity of fortune:

But ye are they that forsake Yahuah, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for Gad, and that furnish the drink offering unto Meniy.
YESHA'YAHU (ISAIAH) 65:11 את CEPHER

Strong's Hebrew: 1409. גָּד (gad) -- fortune, good fortune
(2. proper name, masculine god of fortune (Arabic WeSkizzen iii. 171; גד named often in Phoenician & Aramaic inscriptions)

Strong's Hebrew: 4507. מְנִי (Meni) -- "award," a heathen god - destiny
(מְנִי proper name, of a divinity Menî, god of fate (award, apportionment; compare Arabic proper name, of divinity. Maniyyât, and perhaps Manât,)
