We've been letting our indoor cats have outside time lately. This one is Lulu, and she's 12 years old. Couple days ago she caught a lizard and ate that fucker alive. She still got it! Anyway, I thought this was a pretty cool picture and wanted to share it.

Oh? You’re a cat owner huh? Ok. I’ll go ahead and add you to our list. We’ll be seeing you.

I’m trying to help you. A brainwashed cat lover.

North Central. It's out of place up here in the forest and swamp.

How many cats do you have?
It's great that they go outside.
Mine doesn't show any interest. Which may be good since I have seen birds of prey in my neighborhood.

Two. One old on, one youngin'.

They really enjoy it, and they basically stay on the patio.

My wife worries about the hawks in the area, but those cats are bad to the bone. I don't think a hawk would stand a chance against them. They weigh almost twice as much as a hawk, and they're natural born killers.

Did she get sick after eating it?

Someone told me nothing eats them then I saw a crow eat one.

Naw, she was fine. I think she's got a touch of blood lust now though. Nothing like that first kill, ya know?

Dude, cats have blood lust from birth. She just doesn't know if she can take you! 🤣 pretty cat though.

Im not going to go against my standards and pretend that I like a pic with a toxoplasmosis monster, I fucking hate cats & coons, I'm just one of those who, to be respectable, cannot co exist with them...Im just not a cat guy...BUT...if that animal gives you some sense of purpose and makes you happy then good for you

[ - ] PeckerwoodPerry [op] 2 points 11 monthsMay 14, 2024 02:17:18 ago (+2/-0)

Oh yeah, she definitely gives me purpose. She makes sure I regularly change my bed sheets by pissing on them lol.

Jokes aside, thank you. I do consider her a friend, even if she is a pain in my ass. I get happy seeing her happy, that's good enough for me.

Beautiful picture. Really. The colors are astounding.

And Lulu looks very soft. Awesome about the lizard. Cats are amazing.

Thank you for posting this. You should post more like this.

We have 2 big dogs and a 22(nearly 23) year old cat, he had really slowed down this year and doesn't go out very much now, up until the last 8 or 9 months he had bought us squirrels and birds daily. His back legs are starting to go, he still moves around well and can still get up an 8foot fence when he wants, I'm afraid his time is drawing near and we are just trying to get the timing right for that as we would hate to see him in pain. I know if I take him to the vets that he's not going to be coming home!.
He's been a wonderful animal, only ever been to the vets twice in his long and happy life, he keeps facing off with another cat that is trying to get on his territory, that's not going to end well, he was always ruthless in maintaining his territory but I suspect he's too old to handle a full on fight with a much younger cat now.

Enjoy your cats whilst you have them.

One last thing, my cat had eaten all sorts and never had an issue and so I think their stomachs are pretty robust.
