Arizona woman sentenced after her Air Force husband caught her trying to poison him by putting bleach in his coffee.

Roby Johnson started noticing that his coffee tasted off starting in March of 2023.

Johnson decided to purchase pool chemical testing strips and discovered that there were high chlorine levels in his coffee.

He set up a hidden camera and caught his wife, Melody Feliciano Johnson, in the act.

Johnson says his wife was trying to get life insurance benefits by attempting to kill him.

Despite all the evidence, Feliciano struck a plea deal and pleaded guilty to two counts of adding poison or a harmful substance to food or drink.

She will only have to serve three years of probation.
