I have a question about something a little off-topic.

What's with the voiceover? It's not a robo-voice, but has anyone else noticed it has the same cadence and inflections as a lot of other videos? Not the same guy as in other videos, but the same style. And it's really annoying. What's with this style? Why do so many people adopt this?
