I've seen that video before and it is obvious that the skimmer was installed by the guy behind the counter or he is at least in on the scam. He was way to invested in pulling it out the guy's hands and that look he gave the guy was creepy.

I pay cash for everything in brick and mortar stores, although I suspect that will no longer be possible in 3-5 years.

But how can they do anything useful with a chip? Everything should be encrypted each way.
