i tried playing simcity recently ... the modern version. i used to play it on the Mac SE in the 90s. back then you paid for the game and played as much as you want. current year they nickel-and-dime so much it's not worth playing.

The latest SimCity is actualy much better and more fun than Cities Skylines. EA fucked it from the start with their shit, but it wasn't a bad game contrary to popular belief.

sims 4 was a downgrade of 3 designed for whales to be nickle-and-dimed for eternity. (they just released and expansion late last year even)
