Peleton is making a killing selling bikes you can use in the comfort of your own home targeted primarily at women, with a screen showing a male instructor doing a workout. They could work out for a lot cheaper. But no, the bike has $1000 dollar appeal. (And a subscription).

Peleton who? Pshh
Im telling on myself with how long its been since on one but before yt bombarded you with ads every two seconds i would just play dubstep (shut up) and put on bike scenery videos.
My family had a horse growing up, though I was really the only one that would take it out. We stabled it at a small ranch about a mile from the house.
They're amazing animals. You can get a good read on them just by making eye contact. They are capable of getting a good read on you too. They respond well to constant TLC, and it's easy to form a real relationship with horses.
There's also something almost fairy book about caring for and riding a horse. I imagine it's a combination of all of that.
I grew up in the country but have zero experience being around horses.
My husband and I were checking out the horse barn at the local state fair last summer. We wound up in front of three horses standing together - all facing the same way in a group as though they were having some quiet conversation.
We were standing right in front of them and all three were quietly looking at us right in the eyes (heads tall but as calm as could be). It was the most insane, dare I say, 'mystical' experience. It was as if they were looking right into us and were reading our souls and telepathically judging us amongst each other.
My husband and I just looked at each other and got the hell out of there lol. We were like, 'holy shit those horses were just like people observing us!' It was too much lol.
Grew up in an area that had wild horses and we were always taught to stay away from them because they would bite you. Cant imagine standing there eye to eye with leting it silently size me up.

Modern car guys (the ones who do all the things to and for their vehicle) have the same sort of bond that people had with their horse(s) hundreds of years ago.
Grew up with Clydesdales...treating my car the same way as those big goofy bastards has given me nearly 250,000 miles without engine issues.
Not sure if by "girls" OP means all women or just young women. But assuming he means young women then yes, girls loves them some horses. The reason is because horses are large and powerful and they are, generally, pretty sensitive and empathetic. In short girls imagine their horse as a sort of prince and they fall in love with it. That's assuming the horse isn't a total dick, which happens.
Note though that girls tend to stop riding in their teens. Their interests shift to boys and starting to build a future, which means a home and children. Modern chicks who have been ruined by Marxism think differently, of course, but they usually aren't into horses in the first place so those idiots aren't part of this discussion.
Girls that continue to ride into adulthood have a shift in how they view horses. The romance of horse riding is replaced by the practical aspects of horse ownership. Namely horses are a lot of work and money and these women now have lots of other demands on their time. I have no doubt that they still love horses and riding but gone is the idyllic wistful time spent with Trotter in their pre-teen and teenage years.
To be clear girls generally learn from the start that taking care of a horse is hard work. My point is that what was a labor of love becomes just a lot of work.
