Ukraine provinces had several referendums. They all voted overwhelmingly to join Russia.

They had one and were only asked if they wanted sovereinty. Joining NATO and the EU is opposite of sovereignty and so is being Russian again.

THe Donbass and Eastern Provinces are Russian and do want to be Russian, so civil war was easy to pay for. Four communist groups in Ukraine got a lot of money from the Iraq food for oil scam, and used it to kill Russian families in the Eastern provinces.

A strange bellweather for the CCPs intentions is the water level at the Three Gorges Dam. They typically lower the water level in preparation for the rainy season. They can’t attack Taiwan when the water level is high. Why? Because the first target in an attack on Taiwan will be a retaliatory strike on the dam. The water released will cause chaos down stream and flood the area where the people’s army will be conducting the attack on Taiwan. Destroying the dam with any level of high water will destroy the economy and end the CCP. So watch the water levels, if they start lowering the level off season, or don’t allow it to refill, shits going to hit the fan!
