Yelling "fire" in a theater is not a free speech issue and is not a limitation on free speech.

Yelling "fire" in a theater, in a time where film was highly flammable and the cause of numerous theater fires that did kill lots of people, causes a panic and puts people in danger of being trampled. It's negligent disregard for safety.

You actually can yell "fire" in a crowded theater if 1. The theater is actually on fire. OR 2. If no one actually believes there is a fire and there is no risk of panic, so no risk of trampling causing injury or death.

There is a very clear standard that deals with the restrictions on speech and anon posting death threats on a message board doesn't even remotely meet that standard.

Stop concern trolling. That faggot is simply looking for ways to get banned. Block him if it pisses you off.

The way I've always understood the limitations of speech: No threats or "calls to action that leads to violence". That's it, that's the only shit you're not allowed to say freely. Anything else goes.

I believe that direct threats are actually against many laws so that should be enforced- but based on the required and applicable laws, not because aome panties got bunched. Free speech only has limits of where the law requires them, otherwise it isn't free speech.

I think we have more in common than you might believe. I also believe that free speech is a shell of its' former self. The difference is that if there are people that break laws and are predatory in nature, they deserve to be justly tried and if found guilty, publicly hanged for all to see. If laws are broken, they need to be enforced. System should call up the authorities and give all of that guys info. Ip, location, Alts, everything.
