What’s even more fucked up is that the Talmud was just recently translated into other languages; the German translation first appeared around 1934 and NOT ONCE was mentioned by any Nazi official. Sure they talked a great deal about how jews as a group weren’t a fit in German society (while recruiting them into the highest positions of authority), but they never spoke of why JESUS WAS RIGHT ABOUT THE BABY RAPING MURDEROUS JEWS!
A century removed from those events it's probably best to judge German decision making as guided by the adage "not all jews are my enemy but all my enemies are jews".
The rural laborer communities 'within the pale' (the schtetl) were not the cesspool producing civilizational pathogens. Those were bred exclusively in the Ghettos where the elite jewish cosmopolites were free to subvert christian society.

What are you going to do, chase them forever and exile them, the way the US does with criminals that get deported multiple times and they come right back and commit another crime? Communists would come back from a soft handed exile, jews would too. I admire the Germans based realization that they needed to exceed the commitment level of their enemy.
They foight for their freedom. Hitler going full-authoritarian and murdering political rivals may have been a bad move and weakened the nation, but I need to learn more about this.
