Mormons literally think they are the real jews. Part of their coming of age is someone with priesthood powers giving them a blessing and identifying which tribe of Israel they are descended from. They call outsiders gentiles. They follow Jewish custom in lying to outsiders when convenient, ripping people off, and building their own little theocracy in Utah and Idaho with heavy influence in other western states like Arizona and Wyoming.
