@system was an old goat and started this place. Probably compromised by the feds by now.
It had a few domains and we are now a big happy family again, albeit a little misguided sometimes. There are lots of the same users still around. There is a voat mode in settings and it makes it look like voat did.

There was a cutoff date for having the voat theme. I think you had to register before @system started using the talk.lol domain (which was later abandoned for upgoat). You can still use voat.xyz to connect to this site; you just won't be able to see it the way we do. Kind of a dumb thing to keep as an exclusive, IMO.
