I have four Australian Shepherds, smart dogs. They can count and understand fractions. If they think another dog got more than they got, they get upset. Everyone has to get a treat at the same time or they think they got jewed.
My Australian Shepherds are really Texan/American. They just want to patrol their land and eat some my BBQ. On their birthdays, I buy a big piece of meat and drag it around the yard with a remote controlled car, so they can experience the hunt. The young ones chase the mutton chop, the experienced ones go for the car. Sometimes, they destroy the car before I can stop them. They’re very respectful. If it isn’t their birthday they don’t eat the chop. Smart little shits. But they eat their poop, so…
