Pasta should be boiled without a lid.
The noodles should be strained from the water that they’re cooked in.
Iodized table salt should be added after the pasta is cooked.
Iodine-free salt options, such as kosher salt and Himalayan salt, should be used if home cooks want to boil pasta in salted water.

I see this every so often on here. Several folks recommend using this brand. Could you explain to me why I should spend $30 for 4 ounces of this stuff? What is it about this particular brand that makes it so much better than a cheaper kind? I'm not against it, I simply don't know why with this stuff.
Don't quite remember, but the price seems way higher than when I got three bottles. A cheaper brand should be fine, in my nonexpert opinion. I take about 5-6 drops of this.

If you use amazon, you should use that extension that shows a price history chart for products. Just checked it for my three bottle purchase.
Looks like my three bottles were just over $40, before dropping to $30 when I purchased in Nov 21. Amazon then picked it up directly at $34, while the third party seller had dropped to $25, then jumped back up to $39. Amazon is still $34 for three bottles.
You can set price alerts with Camel Camel Camel, which is good because prices often fluctuate from day to day.
That's one I still haven't figured out. I've only been using RO for a few months. Looking it up apparently hydrogen peroxide is used because it's not as damaging as chlorine and degrades into oxygen and water.
