Just had a fat try to explain to me that doing cardio makes anyone who does it fat.

Some BS about it releasing a chemical in the body that tells it to store all calories as fat.........

That’s when you ask the fat ass how many marathons they run every week.

I have been running everyday for a week, 1-2 miles. Never did it before.
I can see my abs now.

Fuck fat people

1-2 miles

So like 10 mins lol

yea pretty much, my treadmill isn't even very fast or long enough for my strides, so I'm basically slow jogging.
The alternative is not doing it and getting almost no exercise at all, so yea, 15 minutes a day is tearing off fat.
Once I get a sweat going, I continue with dumbbells, bowflex sets, jumping jacks, pushups and situps until I cant take anymore.

As I stated, I'm not a runner due to past smoking (I've quit btw) so I have no fucking clue what I'm doing, and it's working. Anything is better than sitting. That's what most people do, professional relaxers. I'm not suddenly buff, but it's working for me. I am not nor have I ever been, truly fat, I just want to be healthier.

If you run more than 2 miles everyday, you are kicking my ass in that dept. No question about it.
My boss wakes up at 5am and runs 5 miles but he's also 5'4" and I could pick him up over my head with one hand.

When I started, I could barely do 5 minutes. Now I do 15 and other runners like yourself have informed me that it is not only common but beneficial to run longer periods, and it gets easier every single day.

I feel and look better, I move more and eat less. A person who runs one mile a day, or even walks 1 mile a day, is a fucking fitness badass compared to 85% of the population. Most people barely move.

Yea.. just 10-15minutes and it still works
I would never consider it a substitute for lifting, I'm simply stating that it is pretty damn effective.

walks 1 mile a day, is a fucking fitness badass

yeah that's great tbh. Running is also as fun as digging, there is that as well.

I ran a half hour this morning, You inspired me :P I don't see myself doing less than that in the future.

I know which muscles running is for now too, I can see them.
Those ones on the sides where fat people have love handles, didn't even know that curve was there, but now has definition. been doing situps and "reverse crunches" Reverse crunches are much easier and more effective than I thought they would be. Its amazing how doing things everyday is so much more effective than just slobbing along some schedule (which I could never get the hang of). Now I just commit and thats that.

TIL Cardio = 'Sitting on couch Goy-slopping all day'.

Of course it is bs, anyone with a fat ass butter pound of knowledge and sense understands fat is produced by consuming excess calories.

Cortisol

He ain't 100% wrong, but he is 90+% wrong.

Extended cardio, especially done too often or done repetitively for years, your body will produce cortisol which will cause excess calories to more easily convert to fat.

Too Much Cortisol - A nodule (mass) in your adrenal gland or a tumor in the brain’s pituitary gland can trigger your body to make too much cortisol. This can cause a condition called Cushing syndrome. It can lead to rapid weight gain, skin that bruises easily, muscle weakness, diabetes, and many other health problems.

That's a good question that could easily be expanded to numerous other topics. Starting to feel like r/theredpill when it was approaching 5000 subs.

So, he's telling you "Hey man, I do a LOT of cardio" without actually telling you "Hey man, I do a LOT of cardio".
