I will credit him with the fact that his position is well articulated...BUT...the exaggerated optics are obvious in his props except for the "snubby .22mag" in his pocket...case in point, from a distance, it appears that one of his props is a "Desert Eagle" semi auto C/W laser sight attachment and extended capacity mag, (presumably in .357mag given the view of mag dimension) unless he's "wearing" this piece on his waistline, ie a Kydex light bearing holster, he's not going to be able to comfortably "pack" it inside a shoulder or body system because of the weapon's bulky cumbersome profile...just a point of interest, the only time I'll "pack" in a "shoulder holster" is when I'm outfitted with a .357mag revolver, the .44mag is always on the hip due to it's size and weight...if my preference of the day is a 9mm .40 or .45 semi auto, I'll wear my "HUGO BOSS imitation" Lycra compression undershirt, it's a bit snug and it doesn't breathe well but that's why it's best to wear a premium t-shirt underneath the compression system...but when I'm "packing" a 9mm it's pretty much undetectable, the .40/.45s are bulky...also, nomenclature determines a person's experience in the field of weaponry, "PACKING" a weapon means "upper torso" concealment, "WEARING" a weapon is "hip or waistline" partial concealment or open carry. I'll leave it at this given the complexities associated with the proper terminology in respect to equipping one's self with a firearm. I've forwarded on the email I received from a prominent African prince that has over 1 billion million 3 hundred billion million billion in US currency from Ukraine to give you.
He just needs your social security number, ID and bank account details.
Should be a pretty straight forward transaction. I mean rocket scientists say it's not plumbing.
"Tell me you are a gun nut without telling me you are a gun nut." ;)
Just kidding - love the comment. Personally, with as compact and reliable as the modern SA, I refuse to see revolvers (even though I own a few) as more than a novelty.

are you sure even those are legal there unless they fire rainbow colored unicorn dildos for the purpose of dilating bottom surgeries I dont think much else is.
Wow $500. It's been a long time since I've been shopping around but that seems pretty heavy for such a little thing. I wonder what it would cost to mill it on a defense distributed machine.
I carry a Smith & Wesson Model 638. It’s a light weight .38 revolver. It’s not much bigger than that folding .22 pistol in the video. I chose the model 638 due to its size and the shrouded hammer so I can easily conceal it without the hammer getting caught on clothing, yet I can still use it in single action. I don’t think I like that little “foldy” thing, but it does look fun to shoot.
I appreciate his being willing to articulate his position and put it out there. I don't even disagree with what he is trying to say, and or his desire to be useful.
But...
He would be more convincing, and I might would be more willing to listen if:
1) He didn't look as if he just got his carry permit last week.
2) He had actually brought anything new to the table. Sounded as if he was just repeating a bunch of stuff he got off of YT that has already been said before by a lot of other people with vastly more experience and credibility than he has.
Ask yourself this: If you had paid money for a concealed carry class, and this is what you got, would you think you'd gotten your moneys worth? Well, thank God it was all for free then, huh?
3) Waited until his pubes came in and he had more bass in his voice.
4) Show. Don't tell. You're only as good as your training, and on your worst day. He didn't demonstrate anything that would convince me he actually knew what he was talking about. How about you show everybody how you can clear leather, from concealment, while moving into cover, and actually shoot something at say, 15 meters with that little popgun, against a pro-timer.
Them as can, do. Them as can't, talk.
(Been going about the world heeled since 1981. 1911's mostly, but a few BHP's, a couple revolvers and Glocks 17, 20, 21, and 22. No. Not all at the same time. Sheesh.)
@BulletStopper...AFFIRMATIVE...but I wanted to be brief with "bullet points", another thing, most of these soy experts have ever even heard what a rnd sounds like when it "zips" past one's ear or is fluffing up dirt near their feet or their body when laying flat.
RIGHT ON BULLET STOPPER...Q. ...were you plated with with ballistic fiber or 6mm stainless steel?...the reason I'm asking is because my buddy who passed away 2years ago (BONDACCO) had military contracts to supply material for aircraft and personnel...we tested his prototype intro in my basement range and the 9mm pierced and exited 6mm plate but the 40 and 45 never but he made some adjustments in the curing process and resolved the problem somewhat, the plating wouldn't stand up to multiple rounds in succession...and forget about. .30cal rnds, they caused shatter entry and exited, the.223 hollow point at two hundred yards actually made a mess of the material and was only good for a few rnds before ineffective, but stainless held up, but not against .30cal, the shocking power upon impact is lethal, probably better if the rnd goes through without hitting bone or vitals...body armor helps but in the end it boils down to shit luck...also...I've got rnds for my .50cal that cut a clean hole in 3/4" moly plate, not stainless though, that material is tough shit...I. CNC my .50s and use a specific military composit material that is blended with tungsten, it comes in 11" long sticks 1" square and after production all the shavings have to be detailed in file and returned to the supplier so that it isn't reconstituted or analized...my buddy has an industrial machine shop with "dangerous goods" certification.
The first time I got tagged while wearing some serious body armor (not those old Vietnam-era vests) I was wearing the RBA with a front SAPI plate only. (Ceradyne, I think, but I'm not sure. At different times there were different manufacturers and you got issued whatever was sitting on the shelf in supply at that time.)
Those were the early ceramic plates and were very clearly marked "DO NOT DROP". Backed up by the kevlar in the vest. Either boron carbide or silicon carbide ceramic, I don't remember which.
Later on I took a 9mm hit right over my heart on a steel trauma plate in a concealed Level II vest. That one sucked. But it held.
Last time was back in 2007 and was multiple front and back hits on ESAPI plates backed by kevlar in the plate carrier. That time was better because, with everything that was happening right then, I didn't even realize I'd been hit in the back plate until somebody stuck their finger in it and said, "Dude, you got shot again."
Yeah the ceramic is a confusing material, "do not drop" raises the eyebrow but there is a system to it in that it's meant for direct shock, 0° with I think 4° variation, I stand to be corrected but I think that's the spec...it's used for linings in quarry crushes too but limited to basalts and sedimentary aggregates, not igneous granite, limestone and bauxite no problem, regardless, given the choice I'd take a stainless plate over top of a kevlar vest front and back with a hinged tail extension that hangs half down the assignment crack...just as a point of interest, those latino fuckers claiming to be "freedom fighters and people's revolutionaries", not the narco sicarios (as a rule), will purposely snipe from behind into the lower back just to paralyze their target but generally not from long distance due to jungle vegetation, 75 - 100yrds, mostly swamp or slightly fielded areas or if required, urban roof tops...but the fact is that most of them are too stupid to understand BULLET DROP COMPENSATION and ZERO DIAL IN which is why they don't snipe in harvested or pampas areas...Caribbean nigger "soldjas", not military soldiers but the dumb jungle chimps with an AK (47 not the 74) or worn out M16 (both supplied by Cuba Intel "DGI")...anyways I could go on and on but I won't...
The young man in the posted video is a perfect example of why not. People watch a video and think they know the subject matter without ever actually going out and doing it.
First, I have zero inclination to waste any of my time and effort where it would do the least good. You can watch all the videos in the world and still be no more proficient at the task than if you hadn't watched any at all.
It has been my experience that, in practical matters such as firearms, videos will never stack up to real life, in person, hands on, training. You have to be able look people in the face, and watch them actually perform the task.
There's just no way to simulate physically standing behind someone and conducting effective dime/washer drills (or any other effective training technique) over a video.
Second, having already served as an 18B instructor, an SOT instructor, a SOTIC instructor, and a firearms instructor for multiple us.gov departments, performed multiple deployments on SFODA's on FID missions, I have already produced enough trained and proficient gunfighters for one lifetime. And frankly, I have some profound regrets about one or two of those, but that's another story for another time.
Now I only train people that I either know personally, or have come recommended to me through someone I know.
There are more than sufficient wannabe mall-ninjas and lunatics in the world already. I see no need to add to their number.
