Looks like you're seeing the foreign invaders taking over too. Nice photos of the eclipse. It's kind of a weird sensation for darkness to happen during the daytime.

Furtherest north I've lived was https://www.google.com/maps/@44.8699528,-88.1780779,150m/data=!3m1!1e3?entry=ttu. That's the barn where I jumped off the haymow and stuck a pitchfork all the way through my foot.

What do you like about living in that area? (if that's your home area)

That is not my home area. Drove there only to observe the eclipse. I live in northern Ontario. I like it because of the vast forests, endless lakes, and relatively few people. The Canadian shield makes from some interesting landscapes.
But i also hate it here because it get so darn cold in the winter, and winter is so damn long. The older i get the more i hate the cold. I would love to move somewhere warmer.

Obligatory fuck off we're full, but the lower California coast has weather that surpasses whatever the local politics happen to be. Average summer highs of 76F, average winter lows of 46F. Summer nights are mid 50s, due to the 53F Pacific ocean. Inland 20 miles and you get the freezing and 90F+ temps again.

The people are retarded, but whatever. Sometimes the "most unaffordable" county in the US, but you get what you get. Glad I grew up in Wisconsin and PA. The hardships are good for a kid, imo. Walking a half mile to 3rd grade at -29F is a character builder.

Unusual cold killed all my hot pepper plants winter before this last, but most lived through this past winter. I have a 22 year old cactus that's still in its 3 gallon pot that's 9.5 feet tall.

Hottest Month July (67 °F avg)
Coldest Month January (2 °F avg)

That's about halfway up your province, in Kasabonika. A bit on the chilly side. Winter gardening would not be a thing.

Enough of this gay eclipse garbage. It’s like two weeks ago. Time to move on.

Since I used film, it took time to get it developed.
